Overview
As of Exchange Online Synchronizer version 3.2.156 the Synchronizer will fill out the 'preferredTZLocation' column in the appointment table for appointments created in Outlook if time zones are enabled in SuperOffice.
Tips
- Time zones enabled in SuperOffice: Make sure that the time zone configuration on the system running the Synchronizer corresponds with your active database time zone of SuperOffice.
- Time zones not enabled in SuperOffice: make sure the time zone configuration on the system running the Synchronizer corresponds with the time zone configured on your SuperOffice client systems.
When you are starting the Exchange Online Synchronizer for the first time after the installation, the Synchronizer tables will be created. As the last step you will see a warning about the time zone configuration.
Times Zone support will be handled by the server where the Synchronizer is installed. When more than 1 Time Zone needs to be Synchronized you will need to install a seperate Synchronizer instance for each Time Zone.
When you use more than one Synchronizer instance you need to devide the users in ranks. A rank per Synchronizer instance. For more information on adding ranks please see this article
ATTENTION: Failing this step will result in incorrect displayed appointments and tasks.
