How to solve the Mail Logger from storing too much items

It might happen that you notice the Mail Logger is storing too many records per e-mail. This happens because it has been set tot store all attachments, also pictures which can be in a e-mail on replies will be stored.

How to:

To deactivate this behaviour:

  • Open Outlook
  • Select the Tools menu
  • Select Vistma Business Logging Settings

This will open the Mail Logger properties

  • Untick Transfer attachments
  • Click OK

This will store the attachments but they will be connected to the mail.
