Synchronization rules for Visma Business

Overview:

The synchronization of appointments and contacts is bound to certain rules which are discussed in this chapter.

 

Appointments

Outlook

Appointments that have the option ‘Show time as: free’ set are not synchronized to Visma Business.

Appointments created on Saturday or Sunday are not synchronized to Visma Business.

Recurring appointments will not synchronize to Visma Business.

Private appointments will not synchronize to Visma Business.

Visma Business

Only appointments that have the field ‘External processing’ set to ‘2’ are synced to Outlook.

Both

Only appointments within the synchronization range from  30 days in the past to 120 days in the future are synchronized.

 

Contacts

Rule

Contact synchronization is only one way: From Visma Business to Outlook.

Companies are not synchronized.

Contacts are only synchronized under two conditions:

  1. The user has an appointment in Visma Business with that contact (field Associate no.);
  2. All contacts of companies that the user is seller for are synchronized.

Only the addresses of the company that the contact belongs to is synchronized. The addresses of the contact itself is never synchronized.
