Microsoft's Exchange Online, also known as Microsoft 365 or formerly as Office 365, has disabled the feature called Basic Authentication on October 1, 2022

This means that when using Exchange Online Synchronizer (Onsite Synchronizer), together with Microsoft 365,  you have to setup the Exchange Online Synchronizer to use OAuth

This change does not apply to Microsoft Exchange On-premise.

As an alternative, there is also the option to migrate to the cloud version of the product: Synchronizer for SuperOffice. More details can be found on our Synchronizer for SuperOffice Knowledge Base.

The advantage of migrating to the cloud version of the calendar synchronization platform is that you would not need to do another migration once you migrate from SuperOffice Onsite to SuperOffice Online.
